Once you fee good you can start training for real by doing jump squats with a little more weight on the machine. I suggest doing about half of your body weight and doing higher reps to really build up the muscle around the knees. This is not the normal way to train if you are healthy, but you need to build up the strength in the knees and the supporting muscles before you start doing intense training.

Volleyball is a sport that demands you to jump higher than your competition. This is why plyometric exercises are so important for volleyball players. You can't be a great or even good volleyball player if you can't jump high. Sure, there will be people that will tell you otherwise but it's because they can't jump high either. Box Jumps are a great place to start. They are exactly how they sound, you jump onto a box multiple times. Easy enough, right? Well, there is a technique that needs to be followed and I will explain it here. You need to have the box high enough to be challenging but not so high that you can't jump on it quickly. By quickly I mean that you can't hesitate between jumps.

This means that you can't pause and then jump once you have landed. This also means that you can't take a little step before you jump like so many people often times do. You need to land and bounce right back up onto the box as if you were on a trampoline. This is the key to plyometrics and if you do them correctly you will have amazing results. On the other hand, if you don't do them in the right way, you will think you are getting great workouts and end up getting nowhere.
